PROTECTION LEVELS

  • Protected passenger monocoque cell

  • Ballistic protection on passenger cabin is STANAG level 2 as standard with STANAG level 3 optionally available.

  • The blast frame and cabin floor act as a blast attenuating double skin, energy absorbing mechanism and provides exceptional safety characteristics for the occupants of the vehicle.

CENTRAL TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM (CTIS)

CTIS is standard on all HMTV model vehicles and allows for the continuous monitoring and control of tire pressure at each wheel.

Monitoring and control can be performed either a stationary position or on the move.

Control of tire pressure allows control over vehicle ground contact and thereby allows optimization of vehicle mobility control over a range of surface conditions.

Predefined functions are set for: Road, Cross Country and Sand

Modifications are permitted for load and speed.

  • Communication equipment controls may be located on the centre console and dashboard or as per customer requirements.

  • Radios, navigation control panel, weapon station controls, gunner control panel, commander control panel and other communication equipment are commonly fitted in the crew compartment close to user. This type of equipment is user specific and determined on order for precise integration.
